Outjenaho – strahlende Kinderaugen (shining children’s eyes) e. V. is a school partnership between Morukutu Primary School in Namibia and Ottenhofen Primary School near Munich. When we heard that the sleeping situation in the school hostels was critical, we donated the funds to purchase 100 new mattresses. Morukutu Primary School has more than 300 pupils, over 200 of whom live at the school during the school semester.

In January, we took part in the celebrations for the 9th anniversary of the LFHC in Luang Prabang. The progress that the children’s hospital is making is very clear to see! From the very beginning, Moving Child has helped to set up departments – the neonatal ward, which gives premature babies a chance to survive, is particularly close to our hearts. An equally important project is the specialist training of Laotian doctors to become pediatricians.

A visit to the children’s hospital in Luang Prabang, Laos, is very close to the hearts of our managing directors. To support parents and families in the camp outside the hospital with vitamin-rich food, the two brought fresh vegetables they had harvested themselves.

They also visited a school in the village and brought notebooks and pens. A very touching experience for us!
