The MiBiKids association offers German language support for kindergarten children and pupils with a migration background in the district of Freising. Once a week, children learn, talk and play together under the guidance of volunteer group leaders. The aim of MiBiKids is to support the children in their school careers and thus increase their chances of a successful professional future. The only admission criteria are a migration background and the willingness to attend regularly.

The demand for the support courses is enormous! With an average of 299 children taking part in 2024, the number of participants reached a new high. The group leaders provided almost 90 hours of German support per week in 77 courses. There are already over 250 new registrations and re-registrations for the coming school year – more than ever before the start of the new courses.

We are also particularly pleased with the high transfer rate of the sponsored fourth graders to Realschulen and Gymnasien.

This commitment continues to rest on the shoulders of the volunteers and is largely financed by donations. Moving Child ensures the financing of the course costs for around 50 children every year.
