The purpose of the Frauen Gesundheit Familie Zukunft association is the prevention of mental illnesses that can occur around childbirth. This includes individual and personal support during pregnancy, birth and early parental leave. With the help of the association’s initiatives, women, and in particular psychosocially stressed women, children and their families, should be given timely access to existing support measures. This access should help to minimize the rate of new cases of peripartum (around birth) mental illness. At the same time, the services are intended to improve the care situation for women with peripartum mental illnesses. The association also promotes discussion, exchange of information and ideas between parents and specialists. The aim is to make it easier for families and their children to have a healthy and mentally stable start in life. Moving Child supported the association in financing its counseling services.
